What is Salah Companion?
Salah Companion brings together the four things Muslims reach for most — accurate prayer times, a reliable Qibla direction, the full Qur'an, and timely reminders — in one elegant interface that never gets in the way of the moment.
It is a non-profit project: free for everyone, with no ads and no selling of your data. Designed with an “Obsidian & Gold” aesthetic and high-contrast, easy-to-read typography, it works beautifully on phones, tablets and the web, and installs as a native app on iOS and Android.

Yes — it's a non-profit project. Every feature (prayer times, Qibla, the full Qur'an and notifications) is free forever, with no ads. We also build branded editions for mosques and communities at no profit.
Is it available on iOS and Android?
Yes. It runs in any modern browser as an installable PWA and ships as native iOS and Android apps via Capacitor.
How accurate are the prayer times?
Times are calculated from your GPS location and support all 16 standard calculation methods plus a Hanafi / Shafi'i asr toggle, with Hijri and Gregorian dates.
Does it work offline?
Reading and bookmarks work once a surah has loaded, and the app installs as a PWA. For fully offline recitation and reliable background notifications we recommend the native build.
